Michael Mills played a central role in leading Midwestern State to four consecutive NCAA postseason appearances including its first Lone Star Conference championship in 2001.
The Wichita Falls native enjoyed one of the finest individual careers in MSU tennis program history by posting a 66-8 singles mark and a 67-17 doubles ledger.
Mills kept his doubles slate clean with a 22-0 record while going 17-2 in singles as the Indians advanced to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 in 2001 - also a first for the program.
The Rider High School product also starred in the classroom gaining Lone Star Conference All-Academic accolades in each of his four collegiate seasons.
