Corby Walker (1992-95) became the first football player in program history named a two-time GTE Academic All-American by taking the honors in each of his junior and senior seasons of 1994 and 1995.

But the linebacker from Llano, Texas proved just as valuable on the field.

Walker helped the Indians to a 1994 Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship and finished his career third on the annals with 242 tackles.

He earned second-team NAIA and Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-America honors and was a two-time All-TIAA selection.
