Dear Mustang Basketball Supporters,
As the new Head Coach of the MSU Men’s Basketball program I am excited about the upcoming season. It is an even greater blessing to be back in Wichita Falls and once again a part of the Mustang family, as it is my alma mater like so many of you. With the season quickly approaching, I’d like to personally invite you to be part of the
6th Man Club. This dedicated group plays a vital role in the ongoing success of Mustang Basketball, while deepening the connection between our fans and the heart of the program.
This season, our goals are ambitious: to reach new heights in both academic achievement and competitive excellence as we pursue the top spot in the
Lone Star Conference and to return our beloved program into the national spotlight in March. We know this success isn’t possible without the continued support and growth of the 6th Man Club.
What is the 6th Man Club?
The 6th Man Club exists to support Mustang Basketball by:
- Strengthening the relationship between fans and the program.
- Creating a network of alumni, former players, and lifelong fans who share in the pride of our program.
- Offering fans, alumni, and family members a way to stay engaged and connected to Mustang Basketball.
Annual Member Benefits Include:
- Pre-game refreshments, breakdowns with a member of the coaching staff, and halftime stats at each conference home game.
- Exclusive access to team practices and film sessions.
- Mustang Basketball Nike shirt or Nike collared shirt.
- Monthly email updates directly from Jon Trilli, your head coach.
After a busy, yet productive off-season, I’m proud of the strides our team is making and how we are coming together. Our roster returns 5 players from last season’s NCAA second round appearance combined with an exciting group of 9 new recruits. The leadership, work ethic, and determination on display are setting the tone for another exciting year of Mustangs basketball.
How You Can Help
We’ve set a fundraising goal of
$30,000. These funds will directly support:
- Recruiting efforts
- Nutrition Station
- Cutting-edge performance analytics
- Team meals during winter break
- Academic support and resources for our players

NCAA Division II South Central Region.
