The Marie Morgan Award

The Marie Morgan Award

The Marie Morgan Award is presented to the most outstanding student-athlete at MSU for their tireless efforts on behalf of his or her team and the entire program and for exemplary participation throughout the community on behalf of Midwestern State University.

The award is named for Mrs. Marie Morgan who was a long-time supporter of the MSU Athletics program. Morgan freely volunteered her time and effort into many projects and was a cherished citizen of the community of Wichita Falls. Her late husband, Mr. C.O. Morgan, is a member of the Midwestern State Athletics Hall of Honor and once served as M-Club President.

The Marie Morgan Award was first presented to men's basketball standout Christopher Reay in the Spring of 2008.
