Midwestern State Athletics Donation Requests
The following are guidelines for requesting donations by non-profit organizations. Donations include, but are not limited to Midwestern State Athletics tickets to athletic events, marketing collateral, and other memorabilia.
* Donation requisitions must be sent on official letterhead by the non-profit organization to MSU Athletics (see mailing address below).
* All requests for donations must be submitted through MSU Athletics. Please do not send additional requests to student-athletes, coaches or athletic administrators.
* Please submit all requests at least one month prior to the date of fulfillment.
* MSU Athletics cannot guarantee that a donation request will be fulfilled. Approved donation requests will be left to the discretion of the Athletics Department.
* In order to honor as many requests as possible, organizations will only be considered for one donation request per school year.
* To meet NCAA and Compliance regulations, requests for charitable organizations that benefit youth older than the age of 13 or 8th grade will not be eligible for consideration of a donation.
* All monies derived from a promotional activity must go directly to the institution or charitable agency.
* The organization requesting an individual sport ball with an autograph must provide the sport ball being considered for the donation. The Athletics Department will not incur mailing costs.
* Individuals are not eligible to receive items for private use. Our donations are given to non-profit organizations to help benefit our local communities.
* Special consideration will be given to organizations affiliated with Mustangs Care!, MSU Athletics and the university.
* The Compliance Office will be contacted for approval of any requests that might involve NCAA regulations.
* All approved requests will receive notification within two weeks of the final decision.
