WICHITA FALLS, Texas – A record six Mustangs from the track & field earn Lone Star Conference all-conference honors following the completion of the 2026 LSC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Kennedy Johnson earned a spot on the All-LSC 2
nd team following their silver medal in the triple jump. The DMR team of
Jadyn Dangerfield,
Jessie Heath,
Maggie Neal, and
Grace Pineda also took home second at the conference championships, each earning All-LSC 2
nd team honors.
Ella Pando rounds out the all-conference honorees, scoring points in both the 3000 meters and 5000 meters to earn All-LSC 2
nd honors.
In addition to the all-conference awards, Johnson earned all-region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their performances in the triple jump. Johnson ranked top-5 in the south central to earn the all-region accolade, becoming the second Mustang ever to garner all-region status from the USTFCCCA in program history. The sophomore earned LSC second team honors, leading the Mustangs with nine total points.

Pando also earned her first indoor All-LSC honors, taking 5
th place in both the 3000 meters and 5000 meters, totaling eight points in the meet. The DMR team also took silver at the LSC Championships, with Dangerfield, Heath, Neal, and Pineda also 2
nd team honors. Along with their performance in the DMR, Neal and Dangerfield scored points in the 800m, finishing 4
th and 5
th, respectively. Heath scored points in the 400m, while setting a school record in the event during the prelims.
