WICHITA FALLS, Texas –Â
Ella Pando and
Kennedy Johnson from Midwestern State Track & Field earned Lone Star Conference all-league honors following the completion of the 2026 LSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Both of the Mustangs earned All-LSC second team honors.

Johnson earned the all-conference honors with a podium finish the triple jump, while scoring points in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4x100 relay team. The sophomore took the silver medal in the triple jump with a mark of 12.23m (40' 1.5"), their highest finish at LSC Championships in their career. Johnson reached the finals of both sprints, taking 6
th in the 100 meters (12.02) and 8
th in the 200 meters (24.86). The 4x100 meter relay, Johnson ran the second leg in a 5
th place finish (46.57), helping the team to its fastest time of the season. The Euless, Texas native scored 13 points in the meet, leading the Mustangs.
In addition to the all-conference awards, Johnson earned all-region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their performances in the triple jump throughout the season. Johnson ranked 2
nd in the south central to earn the all-region accolade, earning the honor for the second straight season.

Pando also earned outdoor All-LSC honors for the second straight season, scoring points in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters. Pando raced to 3
rd place in the 10,000 meters (37:45.36), while taking 7
th place in the 5,000 meters (18:54.13). The senior holds the school record in the 5,000 meters (17:31.32), and is second in the MSU all-time outdoor performance list for the 10,000 meters (37:16.63, PR).
