PLANO, Texas — Midwestern State Women's Tennis went undefeated in double play and had a solid performance in singles action at the Marty Berryman Invitational over the weekend at Collin College. MSU faced a wide range of competitors facing Collin College (CC), Texas Wesleyan (TWU), Texas A&M-Texarkana (TAMUT), Weatherford College (WC), and Southern Arkansas (SAU).
 
The Mustangs doubles were in full focus over the weekend, finishing 15-0 as Hattie Berend and Selin Sepken combined for a 5-0 record. Berend and Sepken served up a 6-0 victory over Southern Arkansas, while the pair of Emilia Gyorgy and Camila Garcia went 4-0, as Jasmine Crain and Alessia Dolce also finished 4-0. In singles play, Gyorgy, Garcia, Sepken, and Dolce all went 2-0 against Southern Arkansas and Collin College. 
 
MSU now prepare for the ITA South Central Regional in Tyler, Texas, hosted by UT Tyler. The Mustangs will battle several other singles and doubles teams against Lone Star Conference opponents, with a chance of advancing to the ITA Cup hosted in Rome, Georgia.
