WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State is No. 29 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings of NCAA Division II teams.
The Mustangs finished second in the Lone Star Conference during the regular season but won the LSC Women's Tennis Championship, avenging a regular season loss with a 4-2 win over No. 19-ranked UT Tyler. MSU defeated No. 32-ranked Angelo State in the preliminary round of the NCAA Division II Women's Championship, 4-1, to reach the Round of 16, but the Mustangs lost to 22nd-ranked Augustana. Selin Sepken, who was 29-3 across all competitions, finished ranked No. 8 and is an All-American for the Mustangs. Sepken was 19-2 during the dual-match season and played exclusively at No.1 singles. The senior from Istanbul, Turkey, won her final six matches for the Mustangs.

Emilia Gyorgy for a 19-7 record in doubles during the dual-match season. The duo won 10 consecutive matches from April 5 – May 8 and finished the year ranked No. 15 in the nation.
Gyorgy is ranked No. 51 in singles and was 21-8 across all competitions. Gyorgy was 18-7 at No. 2 singles during the dual-match season, winning 15 of her final 18 matches.

Camila Garcia were 7-1 as a doubles' pairing in the fall and are No. 23 in the final ITA rankings.
