SILVER CITY, N.M. – Midwestern State played two slugfest games at The Yard, but Western New Mexico swept the doubleheader. WNMU outhit MSU 16-12 in an 11-7 victory to start the day. In the nightcap, the Western Mustangs outhit Midwestern State 17-11 and held off an MSU rally for a 10-9 victory.

Senior Camile Nunez put together a stellar showing at the plate, hitting two home runs, but Midwestern State fell to Western New Mexico, 11-7.
