a four-year letter winner for coach Jimmy Spradley at Heritage High School in Midlothian... finished prep career with 518 strikeouts... earned All-District 10-4A first-team honors as a senior (2021) helping the Jaguars to the bi-district round of the UIL Texas playoffs... hit .304 with 11 doubles, three triples, five homers, and 29 RBIs... posted a 10-8 record in the circle with a 3.18 ERA... led team to a brilliant 17-3 start in 2020 before the season was cut short do to the coronavirus pandemic... posted an 11-3 mark with a 1.82 ERA with 84 strikeouts in 73 innings in the circle as a junior (2020)... .hit .486 with eight doubles and two triples while driving in 24 runs... earned District 17-4A Utility Player of the Year honors as a sophomore in 2019... helped MHHS to a bi-district showing posting a 2.26 ERA in 89 2/3 innings in the circle... hit .355 with seven doubles, three triples and two homers while posting 22 RBIs... earned All-District 8-4A second-team honors as a freshman in 2018... hit .383 with two doubles, a homer and 12 RBIs... recorded a 2.34 ERA in 86 2/3 innings in the circle... competed on the club level for coach Ken Wilson at SCS Excel Elite...
