PUEBLO, Colo. -- Midwestern State will be part of a 21-team field in the 36-hole NCAA II Regional Preview Invite at the Pueblo Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.

Mary Kerr shot 2-over 74 in the third round last week and was the performer for Midwestern State at 14-over, and she finished in a tie for 13th place.

Ally Reily finished tied for 24th at 18-over 234 and had a team leading seven birdies in the tournament.

Romane Lacoste, competing as an individual last week, finished tied for 37th place at 22-over 238.

The course at Pueblo Country Club was originally built in 1903 and designed by Henry Hughes, who also designed Palo Duro Creek Golf Course in Canyon, Texas. Hughes designed and supervised the construction of more than 40 golf courses, including almost all the courses in the Denver metro area. He was inducted into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame in 1992.

The par-71, 6,428-yard course features poa grass greens with rye and poa grass fairways.

The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with southeasterly wind at 10-15 mph and temperatures in mid 60s on Monday. Sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 70s and wind at 5-10 mph.

The Mustangs are hosting the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club on Oct. 20 and 21.
