LUBBOCK, Texas -- Midwestern State competes in the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Lubbock Christian's Track & Field Facility.
The meet is set to broadcast via pay-per-view on the LSC Digital Network at the cost of $5 a day.

Asia Robertson leads a group of five Mustangs in the 200-meter dash. The junior from Allen ran a school record time of 24.82 to finish fourth at the David Noble Relays. Senior Jaylen Hogue is coming off of a third-place finish at the John Jacobs Invitational with a time of 25.16. Sophomore Corinne Thorpe raced to a PR of 25.94 at last year's LSC Championships, but also ran a wind-aided (+4.6) time of 25.08 to place fourth at the East Texas Invitational this season. Freshman Steveanna Hearn ran a season best 25.65 at the East Texas Invitational, while fellow frosh Da'shrana Sims ran a 26.14 at the David Noble Relays.

Senior Alexandra Feller ran the seventh fastest 10,000-meter time in MSU program history with a 38:41.22 to finish second at the Wes Kittley Invitational leading a group of four Mustangs to set PRs at the event. Junior Sydney MacDonald (40:16.28) placed fourth, while freshmen Mariana Sanchez (40:21.57) and Rosalene Perez (41:36.23) finished fifth and eighth, respectively. All four runners are set to compete at the LSC Outdoor Championships, along with fellow frosh Perla Flores, who ran a 42:34.05 to place fourth at the East Texas Invitational.

Freshman Jadyn Dangerfield Moore comes in with the 10th-best time in the LSC this season, running a 2:17.24 at the East Texas Invitational. That is just a shade faster than sophomore Nathalia Escontrias' season-best time of 2:17.27 ran in the fast section at the David Noble Relays. Escontrias turned in a PR time of 2:16.95 during the indoor campaign. Sophomore Arianna Carballeira raced to a personal best time of 2:21.37 to place second in the regular section at the David Noble Relays.

Sophomore Daiza Jones owns the second fastest time in program history racing to a 57.67 to finish fourth in the David Noble Relays. Freshman Da'shrana Sims is fifth on the program's all-time performance chart after finishing eighth at the John Jacobs Invitational with a time of 58.27. Senior Taylor Carr owns a top time of 59.82 which she set at the 2021 LSC Outdoor Championships. Her best time of 59.99 this season came at the David Noble Relays.

Senior Jaylen Hogue set the school record with a time of 12.13 at the David Noble Relays, but also ran a wind-aided (+3.7) 11.95 at the East Texas Invitational which ranks eighth in the LSC this season. Sophomore Corinne Thorpe is second on MSU's all-time list after turning in a 12.14 in the finals at the East Texas Invitational. Senior Asia Robertson ran a wind-aided (+3.7) time of 12.04 at the East Texas Invitational to rank ninth in the LSC this season. Robertson's legal PR of 12.21 set in 2022 is third in program history. Sophomore Kennedy Smith (12.46), junior Kierra Hicks (12.50), and freshman Steveanna Hearn (12.52) rank seventh, eighth, and ninth in program history.

Butzke paced the best time in nine seasons and the sixth-best time in MSU's history by placing second at the John Jacobs Invitational with an 18:08.96. Feller ranks 10th on the program's all-time list after placing seventh with a time of 18:16.71. Junior Sydney MacDonald (18:24.20) and freshman Mariana Sanchez (18:45.91) set PRs at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational, while frosh Ella Pando (18:25.06) turned in her best time at the John Jacobs Invitational.
