WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State men's tennis team is ranked No. 15 in the ITA Collegiate Rankings released on Wednesday. The Mustangs are one of three Lone Star Conference schools ranked among the top-15 teams in the nation.

UT Tyler is ranked No. 8, and Cameron is ranked No. 11 in the nation.

MSU is spending the week in California playing four duals. The Mustangs opened the road trip with a 4-0 loss to Azusa Pacific, which rose to No. 24 in the latest rankings — up nine spots from a week ago.

Midwestern State is also facing Hawaii-Hilo, Fresno Pacific and Biola while in the Golden State.

Before embarking on the trip to California, the Mustangs suffered a 4-1 loss to Ouachita Baptist, which moved up four spots to No. 5 in this week's rankings.

The doubles team of Marcal Miret Avante and Germano Setti is ranked No. 17 in the nation. Miret and Setti have played No. 1 doubles for the Mustangs in all 11 duals this season and have posted a 6-5 record, including wins over MSU Denver, Northwest Missouri and Southwest Baptist.
