WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Germano Setti was named the Lone Star Conference Men's Singles Player of the Week, while Bruno Sanchez and Cesar Loeches Llamas were selected as the Men's Doubles Team of the Week. 

No. 19-ranked Midwestern State defeated Hawaii Hilo 4-3 at MSU Tennis Center last week for its fourth consecutive dual-match victory. 

Setti clinched the win for the Mustangs with a thrilling 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (9) victory over Jamie Paquet at No. 1 singles. Setti improved to 7-2 for the season. 

Sanchez and Loeches Llamas secured the doubles point against the Vulcans with a 6-3 victory over Angel Fonseca and Jaden Williams. The duo improved to 3-1 at No. 1 doubles for the Mustangs.

It is the second time this season that an MSU men's doubles team has been recognized as the LSC Team of the Week. Setti and Matthew Earle were bestowed the honor three weeks ago.
