WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

MUSTANGS RESUME LSC PLAY: Texas A&M-Kingsville upset MSU 5-4 in the league opener back in February, but the Mustangs bounced back with a 7-2 victory over newcomer Angelo State on March 9th. Midwestern closes LSC play with matches beginning Tuesday at Tarleton State before taking on Western New Mexico on Saturday, Cameron on April 11th and UT Permian Basin on April 13th.

A DOUBLES SWEEP: Midwestern State swept doubles in each of its last seven matches – all wins. Further, each of the Mustangs' 11 team victories this season are credited, in part, by a sweep in doubles play. MSU sports an impressive 42-6 mark this season including a 13-3 mark at the No. 1line, 15-1 at No. 2 and 14-2 at No. 3. Junior Greta Lazzarotto and sophomore Bianca Duff own a 14-match win streak at No. 2, while senior Daria Panferova and freshman Maddie Rowe have won 11 straight at No. 3. Junior Maddy Coffman and sophomore Ashley Ramirez, who are ranked 27th in the ITA Doubles national rankings, have won seven consecutive matchups at No. 1.

#MADDOG: Senior Maddy Coffman surged to 27th in the ITA NCAA Division II singles rankings posting an 11-4 mark from the No. 1 line this season. Her .733 winning percentage at the No. 1 position is currently the best in program history. Only Alex Odell-Michels (15 wins in 2009), teammate Daria Panferova (14 wins in 2017) and Maddie Schorlemmer (13 wins in 2016) own more wins at No. 1 singles. Coffman has posted a combined 70-15 mark (.824) in her two seasons at MSU after playing her freshman year at Dallas Baptist.

#BINGO: Sophomore Bianca Duff moved into the ITA NCAA Division II singles rankings at No. 66 posting a 10-5 mark at the No. 2 line. The Geelong, Australia native has her last three and six of her last seven singles matches. She has combined mark of 66-17 (.795) over the past two years including a 39-5 doubles mark. She is 25-0 playing at No. 2 doubles.

GRETA THE GREAT: Junior Greta Lazzarotto became the 11th member of the 100-Win Club earlier this season and now owns 41 singles wins and 63 doubles victories for a total of 104.

DASHING TO VICTORY: Lone senior Daria Panferova has battled through injury to turn in exceptional results this season. She has strung together nine consecutive victories at No. 3 singles and has combined with freshman Maddie Rowe for a perfect 11-0 mark at No. 3 doubles.
