- Midwestern State battles rival Cameron in the South Central Regional #1 finals Sunday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
- The winner moves on to face winner of the Atlantic Regional #2 on Wednesday, May 13 at the Surprise (Ariz.) Racquet and Tennis Center. The Atlantic Regional #2 consists of West Liberty (W. Va.), Shaw (N.C.), West Virginia Wesleyan and Mercyhurst (Pa.) and is being played May 3 and 4 in West Liberty, W. Va.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
- Cameron has won five of its last six matches and eight of its last 10 after defeating Newman (Kan.) 5-2 in the South Central Region #1 semifinals Saturday in Wichita Falls.
- The Aggies are 2-7 this season against nationally ranked opposition with both wins coming against Newman.
-Â Cameron is led by junior Dennis Merdan, who is ranked 8th in the South Central Region with a 9-12 mark at No. 1 singles.
- Sophomore Felipe Oyarzun (12-7) is ranked 14th regionally at the No. 2 spots, junior Joao Fazendeiro (13-9) is 17th at No. 4 and freshman Mateo Velasco (12-6) is 18th at No. 4.

- Midwestern State and Cameron renew the Red River Rivalry for the 47th time on the courts Sunday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center.
- The Mustangs own a 26-20 edge in the series which dates back to the 1978-79 season.
