Midwestern State faces LCU in South Central Region preliminary dual

Third meeting of the season for LSC rivals

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The battle between Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian in men's tennis will be a trilogy this season after the NCAA Division II Selection Committee revealed the brackets for the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship.

The LSC rivals will meet for the third time this spring on May 12 at 11 a.m. The dual will take place at LCU's Penny Gullo Tennis Center. 

Lubbock Christian is the No. 1 seed in the South Central Region, and the Mustangs are the No. 4 seed. The winner of the preliminary dual will be one of 16 teams advancing to the finals, May 19-23, in Surprise, Arizona. 

Lubbock Christian won the regular season meeting with the Mustangs, 5-2, at MSU Tennis Center, and won the rematch in the LSC Postseason Championship, 4-3, at Life Time Athletic in Plano, Texas.
