The Keller product is averaging 24.8 points per game during the Mustangs' most recent five-game winning streak and has scored no less than 22 points in any of the contests.
Green came into the tournament by scoring 27 points in consecutive games against Abilene Christian and Angelo State before tying a career hight with six 3-pointers on his way to 25 points in MSU's opening round win over Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Green has hit 20 of his last 38 attempts from beyond the arc (52.6 percent) and is averaging 4.2 rebounds a game.

About the series
Midwestern State and Northeastern State clash for the 21st time on the hardwood Friday night at Bruin Field House in Bartlesville, Okla.
The Mustangs lead the series 12-8 and have won six of the last seven meetings, but the the teams have played in numerous tight games over the past 10 years.
Northeastern State got a pair of free throws with 2.8 seconds remaining from Aaron Arango to beat MSU 56-55 on Dec. 15, 2008 last season in Tahlequah, then MSU's Rashad Austin dropped in a pair of charity tosses with less than 3 seconds left to give the Mustangs a 78-76 victory earlier this season at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The teams have split their two meetings in postseason play.
Midwestern won on Terrance Thomas' buzzer-beat 3-pointer for a 91-88 win in the NCAA Division II South Central semifinals on March 10, 2000 in Joplin, Mo.
NSU got a buzzer-beating trey from Derek Cline to escape with a 64-62 win in the opening round of the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament on March 4, 2003 in Tahlequah.
MSU in the Lone Star Conference Championships
Midwestern State owns the highest winning percentage in Lone Star Conference postseason tournament games by peeling off a 15-5 (.750) in now its 10th tournament appearance.
The Mustangs can claim its fifth LSC championship in its 10th appearance in the LSC Championships. Only West Texas A&M has claimed more tournament titles with six in 18 showings.
MSU has won its last six games in the LSC Championships claiming titles in 2007 and 2009. The Mustangs missed the tournament in 2008.
Godwin in quest of third ring
Senior forward Michael Godwin can become a member of his third Lone Star Conference championship team if Midwestern is able to claim three wins this week at Bruin Field House.
Godwin was a true freshman when the Mustangs defeated Southeastern Oklahoma 89-80 for the league title in 2007 and a junior last season when MSU took Southwestern Oklahoma 66-60 in the championship game last season.
Central Oklahoma was the last team to win three titles in four seasons (1995, 1997, 1998), but no player was a member of the Bronchos for each of the titles.
Abilene Christian won three-straight titles from 1985-87, but a search of the through the LSC career basketball championship statistics yielded no player making appearances for the Wildcats in each of the three postseason appearances.
Godwin could be the first individual player to claim three titles.
