Biography

At Midwestern State

Senior (2009-10)

  • played 32 games and made four starts at forward while playing 20.5 minutes per game.
  • became the first Lone Star Conference player to be part of three LSC titlists (2007, 2009, 2010).
  • averaged career bests with 7.7 points and 5.1 rebounds a game.
  • splashed in a career-high 20 points in a 78-77 win over Abilene Christian on Jan. 30, 2010 at Moody Coliseum.
  • notched three double-doubles - all at home - including a 13-point, 11-rebound effort against Tarleton State in the NCAA II South Central Region semifinals on March 14, 2010 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
  • tallied 12 points, pulled in five rebounds and blocked two shots in the NCAA II Elite Eight against St. Cloud State on March 24 in Springfield, Mass. while limiting All-America forward Matt Schneck to four second-half points.
  • scored in double figures in three-straight games from Jan. 25-Jan. 30, 2010 including a then-career high 19 points to go along with 10 rebounds in a 78-76 win over Northeastern State on Jan. 25, 2010.
  • led Mustangs in rebounding six times.
  • named to Commissioner's Honor for the second-straight season.

Junior (2008-09)

  • started the final 27 games of the season at forward after missing the first five due to injury.
  • averaged 6.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 asstists and 1.2 blocks per game.
  • scored 10-or-more points in three games including a season-high 15 in a 95-82 win over Angelo State Jan. 14, 2009.
  • led team in rebounding four times and led in blocks on 15 occasions.
  • pulled in season-high 14 rebounds and swatted a season-best four shots against Texas A&M-Commerce on Dec. 17, 2008.
  • averaged 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds during LSC South Division play.

Sophomore (2007-08)

  • appeared in 26 games and made one start at forward.
  • scored 10 points and pulled in nine rebounds in first collegiate start against Texas-Permian Basin on Nov. 20, 2007.
  • notched two double-doubles included an 11-point, 10-rebound performance against Texas A&M International on Nov. 17, 2007 and a 12-point, 11-rebound showing against Cameron on Dec. 1, 2007.
  • scored 10-or-more points in six games including a season-high 12 at St. Edward's on Nov. 16, 2007, against Cameron on Dec. 1, 2007 and versus West Texas A&M on Feb. 13, 2008.

Freshman (2006-07)

  • averaged 1.7 points and 1.6 rebounds while shooting 46.7 percent from the field as a true freshman.
  • scored a season-high 10 points and added five rebounds against Dallas Christian on Nov. 18, 2006.
  • played 13 minutes while scoring three points and pulling down four rebounds in MSU’s 89-80 win over Southwestern Oklahoma in the first round of the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament on Feb. 27, 2007.

At Rockwall High School

  • earned all-district honors three times and served as captain in each of his junior and senior seasons as a three-year starter for coaches Lynn Noabi and Jerry Stone at Rockwall (Texas) High School.
  • showed versatility at 6-8 by playing guard and forward for the Yellowjackets.
