Senior (2010-11)

  • appeared in 34 games and made 31 starts at the forward position.
  • averaged 6.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game.
  • posted 10-or-more points in six games including a season high 16 points to go along with seven rebounds on Senior Night against Angelo State on Feb. 23, 2011.
  • hit 5-of-7 shots to finish with 10 points and six rebounds in 23 minutes against eventual national champion Bellarmine at the NCAA II Elite Eight on March 23, 2011 in Springfield, Mass.
  • notched sixth career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds against Texas A&M-Commerce on Dec. 20, 2010.
  • had season-high five blocked shot against Southeastern Oklahoma on Nov. 30, 2010.

  • earned first-team All-District 5-4A honors in each of his junior and senior seasons as a two-year starter for father and coach Carl Pennington at Wichita Falls High School.
  • was named MVP of the Times Record News’ Red River 22 and was named the best defender in the district after his senior season.
  • named to the Vernon, Brownwood and Fantasy of Lights all-tournament squads.
  • helped the Coyotes to consecutive district titles in 2005 and 2006.
