FRISCO, Texas – Junior guard
Terrance Ramirez received honorable mention on the 2026 All-Lone Star Conference team announced Wednesday night during the annual championship banquet at Main Event in Frisco, Texas, ahead of the LSC Basketball Championship, which is set to tip off Thursday at Comerica Center.
Ramirez was the leading scorer for the Mustangs with 12.3 points per game and averaged 2.7 assists per contest. He also had 1.3 steals per outing in his 25 appearances with MSU, including 19 starts.
Ramirez came to Midwestern State from Grayson College and scored 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting with five rebounds, four assists and two steals in his first game in the Maroon and Gold — a 97-90 win over UC Colorado Springs.
Ramirez was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week on Dec. 8 after scoring 25 points in a 77-70 win over Angelo State and 26 points in a 96-86 win over UT Permian Basin.
Ramirez scored in double digits 14 times during the season and had a season-high 28 points against Sul Ross State. The native of Grapevine, Texas, scored 21 or more points five times during the season. He averaged 18.6 points per game over the final five games of the season.
Lubbock Christian senior guard/forward Amondo Miller Jr. claimed Lone Star Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year honors to headline the league's postseason awards, which are voted on by the league's 17 head coaches.
