2013 MSU Glow Run Results

WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- More than 150 runners participated in the First Annual Glow Run hosted by the Midwestern State Cross Country and Track program Thursday night on campus.

"I want to say thank you to everyone that came out and participated! We had a great turn out," MSU cross country/track coach Koby Styles said. "I was not expecting that many people to show up, but I am so happy they did. The MSU Cross Country and Track Team and the Wichita County Humane Society are so appreciative for everyone participating in this wonderful event."

Proceeds were split between the MSU Cross Country/Track program and the Wichita Falls Animal Shelter.

"This was our first year but next year we plan on making it bigger and better," Styles said "Chip Timing is in the mix for next year, more glow sticks, more race packets for everyone and more puppies. I believe this race has the potential to be really big!"

Kendall Styles posted the top time posting a 19:02.05 on the course measuring just over 5K at about 3.3 miles.

Male age group winners included: Eric Fulton (19 and under/ 22:48.96); Styes (20-29/19:02.05); Ryan Ogilvy (30-39/ ); Cesar Felix (40-49/24:08.81) and Chris Liscomb (50-59/ 22:15.78).

Female age group winners included: Azlyn Vassar (19 and under/ 23:47.40); Elizabeth Wamble (20-29/24:05.71); Vanessa Halter (30-39/24:06.68) and Tracey Craig (40-49/30:37.49).

"I want to thank everyone who helped and sponsored to make this event very special," Styles said.
