Addison Lindemann homered and pitched a complete game as the Mustangs won Game 1, 4-2. Madison Stewart was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and Megan Ayala drove in two runs as Midwestern State rolled to a 9-1 victory in the nightcap. Midwestern State improved to 17-30 overall and 14-24 in the LSC. The Mustangs have two more wins than last season with six games remaining on the schedule. UT Permian Basin visits Mustangs Park for a noon doubleheader on Friday as MSU wraps up the home slate.

Addison Lindemann (7-15) scattered eight hits with two walks and struck out three over seven innings to earn the win.
