LUBBOCK, Texas -- Midwestern State's
Nidhi Singh turned in two more NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks to lead the Mustangs Saturday afternoon in the Stan Scott Invitational at the Texas Sports Performance Center.
The senior from Thane, India, raced to a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run with an adjusted time of 2:10.35 for the 12th-best mark in the nation, then ran the anchor leg as MSU posted a second provisional time in the 4x400-meter relay.
Trell'Kyrah Watkins led off with a split of 58.83, followed by
Jessie Heath (57.89), and
Maggie Neal (57.67) before Singh closed out with a blistering time of 56.44 to help MSU to a 12th-place finish with an adjusted time 3:51.26.
The mark stands 32nd on the national performance list and is the second-best time for a Mustangs' 4x400-meter squad this season.
Daiza Jones joined Heath, Neal, and Singh to run a 3:46.41 in December for still the 16th-best time in D2 this season.
The two times stand as the top two in MSU indoor history.

Jadyn Dangerfield (1,200 meters),
Da'Shrana Sims (400 meters),
Jessie Heath (800 meters), and
