LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – For the second straight year,
Seth Bearden will head to Arizona to take part in The Patriot All-America Golf Tournament. Bearden joins several All-American golfers from every NCAA division, to compete in the 54-hole championship at Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The invite only tournament will feature a field of 85 players competing from December 29
th-31
st.
In 2024, Bearden competed in The Thunderbolt, a second tournament in the Patriot line up, played at Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club in Surprise, Ariz. The Crowell, Texas native took second place, shooting 9-under par 209. Bearden finished one stroke behind The Thunderbolt Champion, Grant Zander of University of Denver.

Bearden recorded 15 birdies on his way to three par-or-better rounds in the 2024 tournament, including a pair of scores in the 60s against a field dominated by top Division I talent.
This year, the senior is invited to the main event, with participants being selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). A PING First Team All-American in 2025, Bearden recorded a pair of top-five finishes during the Mustangs fall segment of the season. He captured victory at the National Preview in Las Vegas, Nev. (Oct. 6-7), shooting 13-under par over 54 holes. Bearden is currently 24th in the Clippd Division II rankings and sports an adjusted scoring average of 70.2.

The Patriot All-America Invitational features the best of the best in collegiate golf from every NCAA division plus special invitees. Throughout the 54-hole championship, each participant honors a fallen or severely injured soldier or first responder by carrying a bag bearing the name of that individual. Over the years, the tournament featured players like Justin Thomas, Bryson DeChambeau, and Daniel Berger.

Wigwam Golf Course, which opened in 1965, is a par-72 with the gold course measuring at 7,345 yards designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Jones, Sr. is a well-known golf course architect who designed or re-designed more than 500 golf courses in 45 U.S. states and 35 countries.
The forecast for Monday calls for partly cloudy skies, temperature in the mid 70s and a northeastern wind a 11 mph. The winds slightly shift on Tuesday, slowing down to 8 mph, with cloudy skies and temperatures reaching 75 degrees. In the final day of competition, players will look to beat the scattered showers expected to roll in later in the afternoon, with temperatures holding in the low 70s.
