SHAWNEE, Okla. -- Midwestern State competes in the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Eddie Hurt, Jr. Memorial Track.

Twenty-six Mustangs are set to compete in 11 events in the second outdoor meet of the season.

>>> Midwestern State set 16 personal best marks and times at Abilene Christian's Wes Kittley Invitational.
>>> Sophomore Corinne Thorpe delivered the top 100-meter time in the LSC and 14th-best in NCAA Division II with a wind-aided 12.6 which would have been a school record. She also added a wind-aided time of 25.22 for the 34th-best time in NCAA Division II and the third-best in the LSC.
>>> Senior Elizabeth Butzke paced the second-best time in the LSC and 24th-best in NCAA Division II with a time of 11:53.71 in the 3,000-Meter Steeplechase.
>>> Senior Alexandra Feller ran the fastest 10,000-meter time in six years for the Mustangs. The time of 38:41.22 is the fifth quickest in the LSC this season and 27th fastest in NCAA Division II.
