ABILENE, Texas -- Midwestern State competes in Abilene Christian's Wes Kittley Invitational Friday and Saturday at Elmer Gray Stadium.

Twenty-eight Mustangs are set to compete in 14 events in the first outdoor meet of the season.

>>> Midwestern State finished third in the distance medley relay at the LSC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 12:51.23 as Jadyn Dangerfield Moore ran a 3:56.33 in the 1,200-meter leg followed by Da'shrana Sims with a 59.19 in 400 meters, Escontrias paced a 2:24.50 in the 800, and Elizabeth Butzke ran a 5:31.22 in the 1,600-meter leg.
>>> Junior Asia Robertson ran a would-be school record time of 56.89 in the anchor leg following times of 57.59 by Daiza Jones, 57.59 by Jadyn Dangerfield Moore, and 58.46 by Da'shrana Sims as the Mustangs took fourth in the 4x400-meter dash with a school record time of 3:50.96.
>>> Sophomore Nathalia Escontrias finished fourth in the 800-meter final (2:18.99), while senior Alexandra Feller took fifth in the 5,000-meter run (18:46.53). Junior Jaylen Hogue advanced to a pair of finals finishing sixth in the 200-meter dash (24.59) and seventh in the 60-meter dash (7.69).
