WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State rolled to its third and fourth consecutive wins by taking down two more high profile junior college programs Friday at the MSU Tennis Center.
The Mustangs edged No. 2-ranked Cowley County before sweeping No. 8-ranked Collin College improving to 5-2 for the season.
Midwestern State returns to NCAA Division II competition Friday afternoon against Southern Arkansas. First serve at the MSU Tennis Center is set for 2 p.m.

Midwestern State continued its run of dominating singles play and junior
Skylar Minns provided the Mustangs with yet another clinching win Saturday at the MSU Tennis Center.
The junior from New Braunfels won her fourth consecutive singles match in convincing style, taking down NJCAA No. 13-ranked Ntokozo Zungu 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.
For the second consecutive day, the Mustangs needed four singles victories to overcome a junior college giant.
This time, MSU got every one of them in straight sets.
Emilija Visic started the rally after the Mustangs fell down a doubles point and went 2-0 after Cowley County won the singles match off of the courts.
The junior from Phoenix blitzed her way past No. 19-ranked Mariia Koroleva 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 singles, then senior
Alice Di Matteo evened things up at 2-2 with a 6-4, 7-5 win over No. 10-ranked Isid Hernandez at No. 3.
Sophomore
Sydney Williams pushed the Mustangs into the lead with a 6-3, 6-4 win over No. 39-ranked Mariana Jimenez at No. 6, but the Tigers pulled even with a win at No. 1 singles before Minns pushed MSU over the top.

Midwestern State made quick work of Collin College as the Mustangs rolled to their second sweep of the season Saturday at the MSU Tennis Center.
MSU returned to a winning doubles form rolling to wins at all three positions against the Cougars.
Alice Di Matteo and
Kanaha Furutani blasted Jhastine Ballado and Sofia Gonzalez at No. 2 to set the tone.
Sydney Williams and
Amelia Lawson followed with a 6-2 win over Larissa Correa and Ekaterina Orlova at No. 1, while
Skylar Minns and
Emilija Visic beat Margaryta Bugaienko and Viktoriia Federova 6-3 at No. 3.
The Mustangs rolled to straight-set wins at five of the six singles positions, while senior
Amelia Lawson made it a sweep despite being pushed to a third-set super tiebreaker.
The fifth-year senior from Wellington, New Zealand, bounced back from a 6-4 loss in the opening set to beat Correa 6-2, 13-11 at No. 1 singles.
Sophomore
Hannah Yip notched her first clinching win of the season with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Federova at No. 2.
Visic improved to 4-2 in singles play with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Orlova at No. 3, while Minns rolled to 5-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Ballado at No. 4.
Sophomore
Sydney Williams won her second singles match of the day 6-0, 6-1 over Gonzalez at No. 5, and sophomore
Micaela McSpadden beat Bugaienko 7-6 (3), 6-2 at No. 6.
