LAST MEETING | Midwestern State's Hannah Reynolds poured in 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Mustangs to a 72-59 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith last season at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. LAST TIME OUT | Midwestern State's Natalie Stice matched a program single-game record with seven 3-pointers on the way to a career-high 29-point performance Saturday afternoon at UTPB Gym Complex. But it wasn't enough to overcome another career performance by Avalon Munoz, who led UT Permian Basin to an 80-70 win by pouring in 31 points. Stice matched a program record with seven 3-pointers joining Sheridan Bostic (1/25/21), Mica Schneider (2/13/20), Andrea Buben (1/14/09), Heather O'Neil (1/30/99), and Trish Young (1/30/92). Midwestern State matched a season team-high with 10 made 3-pointers. MSU senior Eternity Jackson was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor with a pair of 3-pointers while going 2-for-2 from charity stripe to total 10 points. It was her second double-figure scoring performance of the season. Holly Hemmeline buried five 3-pointers to finish with 17 points, while Alexus Quaadman delivered her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons.
