Midwestern State is starting a new era in women's college basketball with recently hired head Drew Coffman, who is no stranger to Midwestern State. Coffman played basketball at MSU in the 2006-07 season, and the senior from Midland, Texas, played more than 32 minutes a game and averaged more than 17 points per game.  Coffman is the 13th head coach in the history of Midwestern State women's basketball. He coached the Decatur girls' basketball team to back-to-back Class 4A state championships in each of the past two seasons, and he's eager to meet the challenge at his alma mater.
