ODESSA, Texas -- Midwestern State's
Natalie Stice matched a program single-game record with seven 3-pointers on the way to a career-high 29-point performance Saturday afternoon at the Falcon Dome.
But it wasn't enough to overcome another career performance by Avalon Munoz, who led UT Permian Basin to an 80-70 win by pouring 31 points.

Natalie Stice and UT Permian Basin's Avalon Munoz went point-for-point both putting up career highs.
But Munoz received more support with Holly Hemmeline buried five 3-pointers to finish with 17 points while Alexus Quaadman pitched in 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The opportunistic Falcons made a season-high 21 steals while frustrating the Mustangs into 27 turnovers. UTPB cashed in by extending a 30-8 edge in points off turnovers to provide the margin of victory.

Natalie Stice erupted for a career-high 29 points matching a program record with seven 3-pointers. It was her fourth 20-point performance of the season and second consecutive. Stice scored 26 against UT Tyler, 24 versus Southeastern Oklahoma, and 20 points Thursday night at Angelo State.
- MSU senior
Eternity Jackson was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor with a pair of 3-pointers while going 2-for-2 from charity stripe to total 10 points. It was her second double-figure scoring performance of the season.
- Freshman
Dyamon Griggs scored seven points and grabbed nine rebounds in 21 minutes.
- UT Permian Basin sophomore Avalon Munoz poured in a career-high 31 points on 8-of-19 shooting from the floor and 14-of-16 from the free throw line. She also dished out a season-high eight assists.
- UTPB junior guard Holly Hemmeline buried five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points.
- UTPB junior Alexus Quaadman delivered her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

- UT Permian Basin improved to 8-9 on the season while moving to 5-6 in Lone Star Conference play, while MSU fell to 4-13 and 2-9.
