WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- The Second Annual Firecracker Mile is set for the Fourth of July in Downtown Wichita Falls.

Registration is set for $35 for the All-Comers and Mustangs Mile, while the cost is $20 for children from 5- to 12-years old. Registration for the Kids Half-mile (under 5 years old) sis set for $10.

All runners must register no later than June 29 to be eligible for awards and guaranteed a shirt size. Registration includes a participant award and t-shirt.

Awards will be presented to the top male and female from each age group and for the top three overall finishers.

Age groups include 12-17, 17-20, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70-plus.

Packet pickup is for July 3 from 3-5 p.m. at Endurance House or the morning of the race from 5:45-6:30 a.m.
