WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State earned its ninth consecutive postseason berth as announced on the NCAA Division II Selection Show Tuesday night on NCAA.com.

The second-seeded Mustangs, who will make their 19th overall tournament appearance, host Cameron Tuesday morning in the Round of 32 at the MSU Tennis Center. First serve is set for 10 a.m.

The winner moves on the Round of 16 played at the 2022 NCAA Division II Championship site at the Sanlando Park Tennis Center from May 18-23 in Altamonte Springs, Fla.

MSU won its head-to-head meeting against the Aggies this season posting a 5-2 victory on April 12 in Wichita Falls.

Midwestern State meets the Aggies for the eighth time in the postseason. The Mustangs have won five of the meetings, but Cameron claimed a 5-3 win in the last tournament meeting at the MSU Tennis Center to advance to the Round of 16 in 2015.

The Mustangs advanced to the national quarterfinals in five of its last eight postseason appearances.

Midwestern State claimed its fourth Lone Star Conference title on the way to a 17-8 record.
