WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State held a 70-65 lead with 1:35 remaining in the fourth quarter, but Erika Ankney scored seven points in a span of 33 seconds as Oklahoma Baptist took a 72-70 lead with 54 seconds remaining, and the Bison went on to defeat the Mustangs, 77-73.

Midwestern State jumped out to an 11-1 lead as Yasmine Sifaoui scored the first eight points of the game for the Mustangs.
Oklahoma Baptist hit 11 of 14 free throws in the first quarter to take a 20-17 lead at the end of the period.
Sheridan Bostic made two free throws and hit a bank shot in the paint to score four points in the final five seconds of the second quarter as Midwestern State took the halftime lead, 35-34.
Midwestern State held OBU to 3 of 17 shooting in the third quarter, while Mandy Withey and Dyamon Griggs combined to score 13 of 16 points in the period, and the Mustangs took a 51-43 lead into the fourth quarter.
Midwestern State led by 15 points following a Griggs layup with 7:45 remaining in the game.
Oklahoma Baptist was 9 of 14 from the field and hit 15 of 17 free throws in the fourth quarter to outscore MSU in the final period, 34-22.
