LSC Commissioner's Spring 2016 Honor Roll (PDF)
RICHARDSON, Texas – A total of 81 Midwestern State student-athletes and nine athletic training students were named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2016 spring semester, the league office announced Tuesday.
Among the 90 Mustangs that made an appearance on the honor roll list, 19 student-athletes finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Women's soccer and the women's cross country and track & field teams led the way with 11 selections apiece on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. Football placed 10 student-athletes on the list while women's basketball was close behind with nine selections. Men's soccer, volleyball and softball each had eight named to the honor roll and women's tennis placed six on the list.
Men's tennis totaled four commissioner's honor roll picks with men's golf adding three, men's basketball two and women's golf one to the list.
The Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes qualifying based on grade-point average for the current semester. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the current semester and be on the roster.
