LAWTON, Okla. – A walk-off single to right field for pitcher Sonora Zukerman lifted Cameron to a 5-4 win over Midwestern State for a split in Friday's doubleheader at McMahon Field.
Errors doomed Midwestern State (26-24, 11-15 LSC) throughout the game with the Mustangs committing four miscues that resulted in three unearned runs for the Aggies. Cameron (30-17, 15-11 LSC) plated two unearned runs in the final frame after falling to MSU, 4-2, in the series opener. The Aggies put two on with no outs with a walk and a single before shortstop Carly Allerheiligen plated the game-tying run with a single. An intentional walk loaded the bases before Zukerman gave the Aggies the win with her team-high third hit of the ballgame.

Cameron jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning with Zukerman driving in her first of two runs of the evening with a single to second. Catcher Chelsea DeLong followed with an RBI single to right field for the second run of the inning.
The Mustangs evened up the contest in the third with RBI coming from senior third baseman

Chelsey Wall walked to put two on with no outs for the Mustangs. A sac bunt for junior shortstop
Tammy Viliamu moved the runners into scoring position before a Vinson groundout made it a 2-1 contest. Howerton then followed with a double to right to bring in the tying run from second.
Cameron went back in front in the bottom half of the inning with a bases-loaded walk to score right fielder Breezy McComas. The Aggies recorded a pair of walks and a single leading up to the walk for left fielder Paige Ramey.
Harris paced the MSU offense with two hits while Thomas led the way with two RBI. Harris took the loss in the circle, falling to 8-6 on the season after allowing seven hits, two earned runs and five walks with four strikeouts.
Zukerman improved to 9-5 on the year in the circle, giving up six hits, four runs and three walks with one strikeout.
Midwestern State and Cameron wrap up the series tomorrow with a doubleheader slated to begin at noon.
