- matched school single-game record by driving six runs in a 3-for-5 performance with a three-run homer against Tarleton State (Apr. 13).
- had five home runs over a four-game stretch with a long ball in each contest from Mar. 28 - Apr. 1 -- three games at Incarnate Word and one at Ouachita Baptist (Ark.).
- did not hit a homer until Mustangs were a month and 17 games into the season, then clubbed nine in the month of March and 12 in the month of April.
- hit leadoff, go-ahead home run in the seventh inning of a scoreless tie with St. Mary's (Texas) in the opening round of the South Central Regional (May 10)Â in Denton.Â
- first collegiate homer was a three-run blast against Northeastern State (Mar. 2).
- swatted first collegiate grand slam at Eastern New Mexico (Mar. 8) then added another against Texas-Permian Basin (Apr. 9).
At Carroll Senior High School
- named the District 7-5A MVP Offensive Player of the year in 2012.
- had the team high batting average of .500 in 2012.
- went 4-for-4 against Keller Fossil Ridge with one homerun to help the Dragons to victory in 2012.
- named to the District 7-5A All-District first team in 2011 and 2012.
