WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Oklahoma Christian pitcher Madison Hagood limited Midwestern State to four hits, carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning, to lead the Lady Eagles to a 4-2 win in game one of Wednesday's doubleheader at Mustangs Park.
Oklahoma Christian (15-19) struck early with a run in the first inning after a double by catcher Niki Davidson scored second baseman Sheridan Bond, who singled to lead off the frame.

The Lady Eagles stretched their lead to 4-0 in the sixth, recording five hits in the frame. First baseman Jordan Chism drove in the first run of the inning for OC with a single through the left side before designated hitter Haley Squier and right fielder Kelsie Finch added RBI singles to cap off the inning for the Lady Eagles.

Taylor Mordecai scored the second run of the game for MSU but a popup to the shortstop ended any chance for the Mustangs to pull closer in their final at bat.
Hagood moved to 10-7 on the season, fanning three batters while allowing two walks in the complete game effort. Knox was saddled with the loss, allowing seven hits, four earned runs and two walks with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings of action.
