Midwestern State visits Stephenville to face Tarleton State in a showdown for the lead in the Lone Star Conference race as the Mustangs look to win their 11th straight game.
MSU is 14-3 overall, 10-1 in LSC action after the 74-58 win over Texas A&M-Commerce on Wednesday. Tarleton stands at 14-5 overall, 11-0 in the LSC after Wednesday's 68-49 win at Cameron.
Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. on Wisdom Gym.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State is riding a 10-game winning streak, tied for the second-longest on record for the MSU women after the 74-58 triumph over Texas A&M-Commerce on Wednesday. The Mustangs also have won 13 of the last 14 games matching a streak from the 1992-93 season.
MSU boasts three double-figure scorers this season led by senior guard Savannah Carver, this week's LSC Offensive Player of the Week.
The Amarillo native ranks second in the LSC with 15.5 points per game while connecting on 1.6 3-pointers a contest.
Sophomore guard Kirsti Degelia scores 10.5 points a contest, while shooting 42.5 percent from the floor and adds 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
Freshman Dianna Jones tallies 9.9 points a game for the Mustangs. She is connecting on a 1.1 treys an outing and leads the Lone Star Conference in 3-point percentage by nailing 44.4 percent (16-36). The Waco Midway High product pitches in 1.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
Senior forward Cierra Thompson adds 8.3 points and 5.9 rebounds.
Senior forward Jazman Patterson, the current LSC Defensive Player of the Week, leads the team with 6.2 rebounds a game to go with her 6.4 points and 41.1 percent shooting from the floor.
MSU leads the Lone Star Conference averaging 73.9 points and is second in rebounding with 42.8 a game. The Mustangs allow opponents 64.6 points a contest.
ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton State enters the game with a 14-5 overall records, with an 11-0 mark to lead the Lone Star Conference. The TexAnns are on a 12-game winning streak that began on Nov. 30 against Cameron after starting the season 2-5.
The TexAnns are paced by senior Shelby Adamson who averages 13.9 points a contest, while adding 4.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists an outing.
Kiara Wright collects 13.8 points a game. The 6-1 sophomore has only played in the last nine games and has tallied 8.6 boards a contest while shooting 67.1 percent from the floor and blocking 1.7 shots.
Sophomore Peyton Adamson, younger sister of Shelby, is averaging 13.6 points a contest, while shooting 42.9 percent from the 3-point arc (54-126) and 90.4 percent (47-52) from the foul line. She leads the LSC in free throw percentage and three's per game (2.8).
Sophomore Shanae Lowrance adds 8.3 points with 5.7 rebounds and shoots 51.6 percent from the floor.
The TexAnns are averaging 72.7 points a game, while allowing the opposition 63.7 a contest.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State faces Tarleton State for the 55th time on the hardwood Saturday when they meet at Wisdom Gym in Stephenville.
MSU holds a 29-25 lead in the series against the TexAnns that started in the 1976-77 season. Tarleton holds a narrow 13-12 lead in the series in Stephenville, while the Mustangs have a 16-9 series advantage at Ligon Coliseum. There are four unknown sites and Tarleton has a 3-1 edge in those.
While the overall series is tilted MSU's way, that's not what's happened on the court lately. Tarleton has won the last 12 meetings following a Midwestern eight-game win streak.
Tarleton won the last meeting on Feb. 21, 2011 in Wichita Falls 67-59.
MSU's last win in the series was a double overtime 80-74 win in Wichita Falls on Jan. 5, 2005. MSU's last win in Stephenville was an 84-80 decision on Dec. 2, 2003.
