Quick Hits

  • Chris Francois scored 14 points in 13 minutes off of the bench including three 3-pointers to lift Midwestern State to an 89-80 victory in the Lone Star Conference Championship finals on March 3, 2007 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. It was MSU's third LSC title and since has added two more in 2009 and 2010.

  • Midwestern State's 107-48 win over Northern New Mexico was the fifth largest winning margin in school history. It was the most lopsided victory since the Mustangs rolled Dallas Christian 113-42 -- a school record 71-point margin - on Nov. 16, 2006.

  • The Mustangs continue on the quest for the 500th victory under the dome. Southeastern Oklahoma would be the 495th victim for MSU since D.L. Ligon Coliseum opened in 1969. Midwestern has won its last 30 games in the hallowed facility.
