Senior (2010-11)

  • garnered preseason All America honorable mention by The Sporting News.
  • gained Division II Bulletin All America honorable mention.
  • named Basketball Times third-team All American.
  • played and started in 33 games at guard missing lone game of MSU career on Jan. 26, 2011 at Texas A&M-Kingsville after suffering a toe injury at Incarnate Word.
  • ranks 16th in NCAA Division II and topped the Lone Star Conference scoring 21.4 points per game.
  • set a school record with 50 points at Cameron on Dec. 13, 2010 to break a 48-year-old record of 46 points set by Roger Ellis against McMurry on Feb. 27, 1962 then matched by NAIA All American Earl Beechum versus Monmouth on March 8, 1966. It was the first 50-point performance in the LSC since UCO’s Eddie Robinson went for 52 against Southwestern Oklahoma in 1999.
  • became the eighth two-year player in MSU history to amass 1,000 points and stands fourth on the all-time two-year scorers list with 1,188 points trailing only Tony Forch (1,391) and Henry Crawford (1,320).
  • scored at least 10 points in 30 of 33 games, scored 20-or-more points 20 times and 30-or-more on four occasions.
  • led the Mustangs in scoring 23 times.
  • notched first career double-double with 18 points and 10 assists against Southwestern Christian on Nov. 17, 2010.

  • made 31 starts at the guard position after transferring from Blinn College.
  • named to NCAA Division II All-South Central Region Tournament team after scoring 14.3 points per game and dishing out three assists a game in wins Incarnate Word, Tarleton State and Central Missouri.
  • hit game-winning floater from the right block with 58 seconds remaining to lift No. 3 Midwestern to a 60-59 win over No. 7 Central Missouri and to its first NCAA II Elite Eight berth in school history.
  • garnered All-Lone Star Conference Division second-team honors after scoring 11.9 points per game to go along with four assists and two rebounds a game as the Mustangs claimed their second-straight and third division championship in the last four years.
  • erupted for season-high 31 points in MSU's 92-88 loss to St. Cloud State in the NCAA II Elite Eight on March 24 in Springfield, Mass.
  • poured in game-high 29 points in a 96-89 win over Central Oklahoma on Dec. 3, 2009 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
  • scored at least 10 points in 27 of 34 games and scored 20-or-more points in three games.
  • led the Mustangs in scoring on eight occasions.
  • notched at least five assists in 14 games and made three-or-more steals 11 times.
  • named to St. Edward's Shootout All-Tournament team after scoring 22 points with four assists and four steals in MSU's season-opening 63-52 win over Trinity (Texas) on Nov. 15, 2009 at the St. Edward's Recreation and Convocation Center in Austin.
  • rated 34th in NCAA Division II with 2.2 steals per game and 94th with 4.1 assists a contest.

  • earned NJCAA All-Region XIV third team honors after averaging 12.9 points, 5.1 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 3.5 steals in 29 games.
  • connected on 58.6 percent from field including 43.3 percent from the arc.
  • had season-high 30 points against Lee College and hit for at least 20 points on six other occasions.

    Sophomore (2007-08)

  • played in Owls' first three games before suffering a ruptured patella tendon against Richmond (Nov. 20, 2007).
  • had surgery the same week and did not return to the court for the remainder of the season.
  • averaged 17 minutes of playing time in three games and had seven assists.
  • scored a total of six points in the three contests.
  • had four assists along with three points in the Duquesne game.
  • Freshman (2006-07)

  • played in all 32 games and made 17 starts, including the first two games of his collegiate career (Paul Quinn College and Gonzaga).
  • second on squad with 77 assists (2.41 assist average).
  • four-game stretch with double-digit scoring including Texas-Permian Basin (12), Lamar (10), Prairie View A&M (17) and Belmont (16).
  • also scored 13 against Paul Quinn and 11 agaisnt Central Florida.
  • had a season-high eight assists against Texas-Permian Basin and also had seven assists versus Oregon.

  • three-year letterwinner for coach Larry Brown at Westfield High School in Houston, Texas.
  • averaged 14 points, six assists and three steals during senior season to help Mustangs to a 36-1 mark and a No. 2 national ranking in 2005-06.
