LAWTON, Oklahoma – No. 34-ranked Midwestern State is on the road for two more dual matches this week, renewing the Red River Rivalry with Cameron on Friday at 1 p.m. before visiting St. Mary's in San Antonio, where first serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Midwestern State is 12-6 overall this season with a 4-2 conference record following a 4-3 loss at UT Tyler on Sunday.

Selin Sepken's eight-match winning streak at No. 1 singles with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 triumph as UT Tyler clinched the dual-match victory.
Midwestern State dropped the doubles point for only the third time this season.
Sepken and
Emilia Gyorgy won the No. 2 doubles match, defeating Maria Antonio Ortega and Paula Castellanos, 6-3. It was the third straight win for the No. 8-ranked pairing of Midwestern State, which improved to 12-6 this season.
Camila Garcia and
Jasmine Crain are coming off a rare loss in doubles. The sensational pairing is 16-2 this season with a 4-2 conference record.
Hattie Berend and
Alessia Dolce suffered their first loss at No. 3 doubles against UT Tyler after posting nine straight victories in doubles for the Mustangs.
Garcia kept her winning streak at No. 3 singles intact at UT Tyler, winning her ninth consecutive match 6-3, 6-3 over Ortega. The sophomore from Colombia is 15-2 this season.
Gyorgy has won four straight matches at No. 2 singles and has been victorious in 10 of her last 11 singles matches. Following a 6-1, 7-5 win over Natalia Gorzny at UT Tyler, the freshman from Hungary is 13-5 overall with a 5-1 record in conference matches.
Dolce has a four-match winning streak at No. 4 singles after waltzing to a 6-2, 6-2 win over Carla Rodier of UT Tyler. The sophomore from Italy is 10-6 overall with a 4-2 mark against LSC foes.
Crain saw a three-match winning streak end in Tyler as she fell to Paula Castellanos at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2, on Sunday. The freshman from Edmond, Oklahoma, is 4-2 in conference matches and 8-9 overall this season.
Berend went to Tyler winning three of her last four set at love, but Claudia Di Leonardo dealt the Wichita Falls native a 7-6 (6), 6-1 defeat on Sunday. The junior is 6-6 this season with four wins in six conference clashes.
CAMERON (7-7, 3-4)
The all-time series with the Aggies is tied, 30-30-1, but the Mustangs won three of the last four encounters, including a 5-2 win at Lawton two years ago. Last year, Midwestern State swept Cameron 7-0 at MSU Tennis Center.
The Mustangs are 14-16 when visiting Cameron, including a 4-1 loss in the 2023 South Central Regional.
The Aggies have alternated wins and losses since defeating McKendree at Streich-Henry Tennis Complex on March 11, and they are coming off a 6-1 win over UT Dallas.
Cameron is 40-41 in singles matches this spring, led by Jenna Goessel, who is ranked No. 72 in singles with a 9-5 record this spring. Goessel and Nil Kalkavan are the No. 32-ranked doubles pair in NCAA Division II with a 4-2 record in the dual-match season.
As a team, Cameron is 22-17 in doubles matches this season and has won the doubles point in eight of its 14 dual matches, and the Aggies have taken the doubles point in four of their seven conference dual matches.
ST. MARY'S (12-8, 5-2)
Midwestern State lost four of its last six encounters with the Rattlers, including a 4-3 setback at MSU Tennis Center last season. However, the Mustangs picked up their first-ever win as the visitors in the series by defeating the Rattlers 6-1 at Rohrbach Stadium Tennis Complex two years ago. St. Mary's had come away victorious as the hosts in four previous visits. Midwestern State won the first nine duals with the Rattlers and leads the all-time series, 14-8.
St. Mary's is coming off a 7-0 win at UT Permian Basin on April 10 and will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday in its final home dual of the regular season. The Rattlers are 4-4 in home duals this season.
The Rattlers are winning more than 67 percent of their singles matches with a 78-38 record this season, led by Alessia Terlizzi, who is 13-3 at No. 1 singles. Selina Wu is 16-3 this spring with a 12-3 record at No. 2 singles, and she is 4-0 when playing in the No. 1 position.
Four different players have combined to go 15-5 at No. 5 singles for St. Mary's, which is 35-21 in doubles matches, and won the doubles point in seven of its last eight dual matches.
Terlizzi is ranked No. 59 in singles. She is paired with Gia Posito in doubles, and they are No. 24 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis rankings.
