WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State returns to D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Monday night for a non-conference clash with Dallas Christian. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Midwestern State (1-3) is coming off an 82-78 loss at Western Colorado and has a three-game losing streak. Davyon Butler scored 21 points against the Mountaineers, and Charles McClennahan, Jr. finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.
Jonathan Jackson is the Mustangs leading scorer with 14.8 points per game and is 15 of 29 (51.7 percent) from 3-point range. McClennahan and Terrance Ramirez are both averaging 13 points per game, and Orlando Hudson, Jr. is scoring 12 points per game.
Midwestern State is scoring 81.5 points per game and shooting 43.4 percent from the field. Opponents are shooting 44.1 percent from the field and scoring 85.8 points per game.
McClennahan is the leading rebounder for MSU with 8.5 boards per game, and DeCannon Wesley is pulling down 6.3 boards per contest. The Mustangs have been outrebounded 43.3 – 39.3 per game to start the season.

Dallas Christian (4-6) is coming off an 87-73 loss at Central Baptist on Saturday and has a three-game losing streak. The Crusaders are 3-5 on the road this season.
Carlas Canady, a senior guard from Cedar Hill, Texas, is the leading scorer for Dallas Christian with 12.4 points per game. He scored a season-high 20 points in a 106-66 loss at Ouachita Baptist. Canady also leads the team with 20 assists.
Nick Lancit is shooting 51.6 percent from the field and scoring 10.9 points per game.
The Crusaders are scoring 79.6 points per game and allowing 84.4 points per contest. Dallas Christian is outrebounding its opponents 43.0-42.6 per game.
The leading rebounder for the Crusaders is Seth Mays, a 6-4 sophomore from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with 7.8 boards per game, but he has not played since an 84-65 loss to Central Baptist in Farmers Branch, Texas, on Nov. 7.
Midwestern State travels to Tarleton State for an exhibition game at EECU Center on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
