WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State earned the No. 6 seed in the South Central Region and travels to Golden, Colo., to face UCCS in the first round of the NCAA Division II Championship as announced Monday by the women's soccer committee. Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m. CST.
The Mustangs would face second-seeded Colorado School of Mines in the second round with a victory over the Mountain Lions.
Dallas Baptist is the No. 1 seed in the region and plays the winner of the match between No. 4-seed Colorado Mesa and fifth-seeded Texas Woman's.
The highest remaining seeds will serve as host to third-round matches on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Quarterfinal matches are slated for Saturday, Dec. 6 at the home of the highest remaining seeds.Â

The four quarterfinal winners move on to the NCAA Division II finals set for Dec. 11-13 at Switchbacks FC Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Midwestern State is making its second straight NCAA postseason appearance and eighth overall.Â
