WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State finished second in the Lone Star Conference regular season and was the No. 6 seed in the South Central Regional following an 11-3-6 campaign, and the Mustangs have two players on the D2CCA South Central Women's Soccer All-Region Teams.

Lillia Besedin is one of nine Lone Star Conference performers selected to the 13-player first team, and senior midfielder
Nyxalee Munoz is among the six LSC players on the second team.
Besedin, a transfer from Western Oregon, was first-team All-Conference and selected as the LSC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 20. The native of Gilbert, Arizona, scored five goals in a span of six games as Midwestern State enjoyed a 16-game unbeaten streak, and she finished the season with eight goals, including the game-winner against No. 1-ranked and previously undefeated Dallas Baptist in a 2-0 victory on Nov. 4.
Munoz was All-Conference for the second-straight season and was named to the LSC All-Tournament team. The Odessa, Texas, native started all 20 games, and she played the full 90 minutes in three postseason games. Munoz finished the season with seven goals and an assist. Munoz also scored in the win over Dallas Baptist, and she scored in the LSC Women's Championship 2-0 quarterfinal victory over St. Edward's.
Dallas Baptist led all schools with six players on the All-South Central Women's Soccer Team, and MSU was one of four LSC schools with two representatives.
