CONROE, Texas --Sophomore Addison Lindemann dominated on Friday, punching out nine Colorado Mesa hitters over six innings of work, but it was not enough as the Midwestern State Mustangs fell to the No. 21-ranked Mavericks 3-1.
In addition to her nine strikeouts, Lindemann (0-1) tossed six innings, giving up three runs, all of them earned, on six hits and walking three for Midwestern State (0-1).
In the batter's box, the Mustangs were paced by senior Camile Nunez, who went 3-for-4 on the day with a home run and an RBI.
