WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State got a pair of goals from Mere Escobar in a 2-0 win over Lubbock Christian Wednesday night at Stang Park. Escobar scored his 14th goal of the season and the 58th of his career, which ties the MSU school record. Escobar matches the career output of Alvin Alexander from 1975-78 and Kris Henderson from 1987-90. Esocbar scored two or more goals in a game for the 13th time in his career and for the fifth time this season. 
Midwestern State improved to 10-2-3 overall and 5-2-1 in Lone Star Conference action after the win. St. Mary's clinched the LSC regular season title with a 1-0 victory at Dallas Baptist on Wednesday night.
