WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State placed 116 student-athletes on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2023 semester including 28 Mustangs boasting a perfect 4.00 grade-point average.
 
Women's Cross Country and Track & Field boasted the best representation with 19 student-athletes on the honor roll including two with 4.00 GPAs, while Football had 15 student-athletes on the list and Men's Soccer added 14.

Women's Tennis led the way placing the highest percentage of its roster on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll placing nine of 10 on the list for 90 percent. Men's  Golf, Women's Golf, and Men's Tennis all placed 75 percent of its rosters on the honor roll.

Eight Athletic Trainers were named to the honor roll with three earning perfect marks.
 
The LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes qualifying based on grade-point average for the current semester. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must have a minimum of a 3.30 GPA for current semester and be on the roster.
