WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State took a 50-40 lead over Angelo State with 21 seconds remaining in the third quarter, but the Rambelles outscored the Mustangs in the fourth period, 33-11, and earned a 76-61 victory at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

Natalie Stice was 3 of 5 from the field in the first quarter and finished the period with six points. Forwards
Shawnisay Millar and
Yasmine Sifaoui combined to score nine points in the opening period, and the Mustangs led 15-13 after the first 10 minutes.
Midwestern State held the Rambelles to 31.6 percent shooting in the first half and outrebounded Angelo State, 23-18, in the first 20 minutes to take a 31-27 lead at intermission.
Stice had four steals of the six steals for the Mustangs during the third quarter and scored eight points as Midwestern State extended its lead.
Angelo State forced 10 turnovers, including seven steals, in the fourth quarter and scored 17 of 33 fourth-quarter points off turnovers.
Midwestern State held the lead for more than 27 minutes but lost the advantage with 6:40 remaining in the fourth quarter, when Tayjanna Mcghee-Pleasant hit a jump shot to tie the game 55-55, and the Mustangs never held the lead again.
Angelo State outscored Midwestern State in transition, 17-7.

Natalie Stice finished with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting. It's the fifth time she has scored 20 or more points this season. Stice also had six of the 11 steals for the Mustangs.

Mandy Withey finished with 10 rebounds, marking the third consecutive game that the 6-0 senior forward has had double-digit rebounds.
- McGhee-Pleasant played 40 minutes and finished with 24 points and 17 rebounds for Angelo State. The 6-3 junior forward also had five steals in the victory.
- Sawyer Lloyd finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Rambelles.
- Landry Morrow added 16 points, and Madeline Stephens pitched in 10 points for Angelo State, which was 27 of 74 from the field and took 15 more shots than the Mustangs, who were 22 of 59.

- Midwestern State fell to 4-10 at home this season and has a six-game losing streak overall.
- The Mustangs slipped to 5-20 on the season and they are 3-16 in Lone Star Conference play.
- Angelo State improved to 20-5 overall and 15-4 in conference action.
